Refund policy

Returns
Once you receive your order, you have {FIVE} days to contact us about a return. After this, we cannot accept a return or offer a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused + in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Custom items are {NOT ELIGIBLE} for return >> this includes all freshies + decals.

To initiate your return, please contact us detailing your desire + reason for returning at DESERTLANEBTQ@GMAIL.COM

After your return is authorized, you have {THREE} days to deliver the return to a shipping service to have it shipped. Returns with or without tracking will show the date they were shipped - this cannot exceed 3 days after the return is authorized or you may only be eligible for partial refund.

There are certain situations where returns are only eligible for partial refund, or where a refund might be rejected.

♡ Any item that is returned more than {FIVE} days after delivery.
♡ A return that is not taken to a shipping service (i.e. USPS, UPS, FedEx) within {THREE} days.
♡ Any item not in its original condition
♡ An unauthorized return {if you return the item before contacting us}


    Refunds
    Once your return is received + inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

    Then, your refund will be processed, + a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

    All refunds are subject to a 15% restock fee.

    Late or missing refunds
    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
    Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
    Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

    Sale items
    Only regular priced items may be refunded >> all sale items are final sale.

    Exchanges
    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at DESERTLANEBTQ@GMAIL.COM + send your item to: PO Box 124, Forestburg TX 76239, United States.

    Gifts
    If the item was marked as a gift when purchased + shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return >> Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you.

    If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver + he will find out about your return.

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

    We recommend always using a {TRACKABLE} shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. PirateShip is a great website that allows you to purchase a trackable shipping label at a lower price than at your local post office.
